This video is the third in a series of informal tutorials related to literature reviews, proposal and dissertation formatting, etc. for the Leadership Program at Andrews University.
This tutorial covers getting a reference from Dissertation Abstract / ProQuest Digital Dissertations into Endnote, including the full text.
Again, please comment if you have additional tips or suggestions, or even questions.
Hi Janine,
What if when exporting a dissertation it doesn’t have ‘the number” at the end of the reference after moving to Endnote? I just moved 4 and none have the number at the end. Thanks, K
It’s been 8 months since I used Endnote. Shame on me! I forgot so much!
P.S. Thanks for these tutorials. they are terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrific!!! AKS
Kay – you should be able to look up that number in ProQuest. I’m not sure why it would be missing, but you can always enter missing data by hand.
