Do you remember way back in the spring of 2008? Many of you assisted my research by completing my survey for VC coordinators. Well, now I have finally defended my dissertation, and am ready to share the results and discuss them with you!
Why This Research?
I wanted to study the role of the videoconference coordinator in the school and the factors that might affect their ability to support videoconferencing. I wanted to compare these factors with the school’s use of videoconferencing – how much they were using videoconferencing.
Read the Research
If you are sucker for punishment, you can read my dissertation here.
If you’re interested but don’t have time for the whole thing: read chapter 2 for a review of the literature on curriculum videoconferencing; read chapter 5 for the application of the results.
Discussing the Research
What I really want to do though, is take the results piece by piece, and discuss them with you. See if you agree with the results. If they are similar to what you see in your area. If you have similar opinions on what is important in the use of curriculum videoconferencing in schools. So I invite you to join the conversation. We’ll take it slow and this might drag on for a month or so. I’ll slip in other posts here and there so you don’t get too bored! But please join the conversation! I’ve been anxious to share with you!
Thank you!
Let me say again a big thank you to every single one of you who completed my survey and encouraged your VC coordinators to complete it. I couldn’t have done it without you!
LOL…….with my response on Linked!! I didn’t see that it was you asking! I’ve been in testing mode with our new DL classrooms and I’m brain dead..
Thanks to Rox – I’ve had the best contractor in the world and I am very pleased with how the rooms are functioning!
