I just realized that I was missing someone on my blogroll and my celebration yesterday — another important newcomer to VC blogging: Heather Weisse Walsh’s K20 Inter@actions. Heather blogs on MAGPI activities and more. A belated welcome, Heather, to the world of blogging about videoconferencing.
For those of you who aren’t following her (yet), here’s a sample of what you’re missing:
- Favorite Videoconference Resources including a few that were new to me: Hawaii’s VC Getting Started Guide and of all things, an Emily Post Guide to Videoconference Etiquette!
- Facilitating Multisite Videoconference Discussions
- And even video clips of her cool events. (How do you do it, Heather?! You must have a video assistant or some magic software!)
So, quick, add her blog to your RSS reader!
Hi Janine,
Thanks for the blog mention! :0) Although we have LOTS of videoconference footage, I’ve had to be selective in what I post on the blog so that helps cut down on the time it takes to get things posted- – – and it’s been pretty easy to edit clips in iMovie. :0)
And thanks so much for all the great resources on your blog, too!!! When I was putting together my favorite VC resources, I kept coming back to all the work you’ve done on your blog, TWICE and through Berien RESA!
Heather
Yeah for iMovie! So how do you get them recorded and into iMovie? Can you describe it start to finish? Actually that would make a great post on your blog! 🙂
